Mountain Palette
I had the wonderful opportunity to go backpacking with a very good
friend of mine in Tuolumne Meadows within Yosemite National Park.
This beautiful sunset happened on our second night out. While it was
beautiful, it was also slightly alarming to watch thick clouds
building behind the mountains knowing that we were camping in a very
exposed location (you can see our tent infront of the large bush in
the middle of the photo.) Fortunately, we only experienced a few
strong wind gusts before the storm passed us by. This time of year
Yosemite is known for crystal clear blue skies a vast majority of the
time so I am very grateful for the dramatic skies we saw.
